Rolling away this roaring metal monster,
to the destination far off from my tribe.
Never ending stripe of dusty road and stinky cabins,
are companions of my monotonous life.
The warm sleep-inducing breeze that gushes in,
through rolled down window of side door.
While struggling to keep heavy eyelids up,
I was startled by clock that beeped at four.
I halted Truck and hopped down for a stretch,
put my happy mask on and greeted passer-by.
looked up and sighed under millions of stars
which glittered across soon-to-be twilight sky.
I climbed up and started it again and drove,
through the lonely road full of bumps and pits.
As Sun started showing up from hillocks,
the pitch dark windy road got
dimly lit .
I mumbled prayers for reflex and mindfulness,
With watchful eyes on the long road.
As soon as cargos safely reached destination
Burden inside my heart could finally unload.
