That was hell of a sleepless night
After a suffocating lonely fight.
I needed fresh air to ward off blues
So jumped off bed and buckled up shoes
As I strolled along avenue filled with fog
I got startled by hooting of a dog
She was beautiful furry Huskey who stared me
Her old little rug was wet with pee
I untied her collar and rubbed over nose
She took careful steps and came little close
Her eyes beamed with love as she stood
Then barked meekly and hustled into woods
I followed my intuition and chased her
Could only see her glowing eyes and shiny fur
She looked back and transformed to light worm
And vanished into starless night as body went numb
I felt a touch at forehead and closed my eyes
It welled up and I was ecstatic with joy
I could sense positive energies around me
It soaked up ego, stress, pain and anxiety
I vividly sensed the body wrapped soul within
Gets beautiful with virtues and uglier
with sins
The body that soul wears on every
rebirth
Counts on every deed that committed
on earth
That formless eternal part of super-soul
Gets closer only through self-control
To attain salvation from cycle of
flesh and blood
soul be pious enough to rest in
lotus feet of God.
